SMC Entertainment Inc., a record label, operates as a recorded music company. It focuses on releasing content by its artists in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world. The company serves a variety of music connoisseurs from hip-hop/rap to Pop to Gospel. SMC Entertainment Inc. was founded in 2005 and is based in San Francisco, California. The company has regional offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.

At SMC we take a different business approach with our artists. We give our artists the freedom and support to not only to create their art, but to build their own labels and brands. This is the new order in music. MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to deliver digital content to music consumers through our proprietary digital distribution and marketing platform. More than 50% of all music is distributed digitally. SMC will leverage it’s relationships with the top digital carriers like iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, and Google, to provide maximum exposure to the artist’s content. SMC will use strategies developed over years of real time success, our dynamic team of seasoned music professionals and up and coming young professionals place SMC in a unique situation, which allows us to draw from years of experience and pair that with cutting-edge technology. We at SMC are “music professionals working for music professionals.” We will focus our efforts in Latin America and India, as they are very large markets (cumulatively, in excess of 1 billion potential customers), and largely untapped in the digital realm.

We offer everything an up and coming artist needs to launch a successful career in music, as well as everything a hit artists needs to further their career at a fraction of the costs that are typical in the industry. We are a one stop shop for artists around the world in all stages of their careers. Unlike the other digital and physical distribution companies, SMC delivers the capability to not only deliver an artist’s content and message across all digital platforms, but delivered to Internet, satellite radio, subscription services, online and physical press, music supervisors, social network sites, booking agencies, touring sites and many more. SMC will also offer access to publishers, merchandise, branding services, sound mastering services, and almost anything an artist needs to release a high quality, professional record.

      Mr. Tashjian is the co-founder of SMC Recordings, Inc. and serves as the CEO & Chairman. Mr. Tashjian brings a wealth of knowledge and over forty years of experience in the music industry. He began his career with MCA/Universal as a local promotion representative. From there, Mr. Tashjian became a VP of Promotions for 20th Century Records, then Motown Records and finally Island Records. After his tenure in the Corporate world, Mr. Tashjian founded Modern Music Market and Riot Records. Mr. Tashjian has worked with iconic artists such as Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Dr. Dre and Snoop to name a few. Mr. Tashjian fuels this venture with the same passion and tenacity that helped many of those artists reach the top.

      Mr. Heidolph is responsible for the Company’s day to day operations by directing and maintaining the Company’s goals, objectives, and policies; all while implementing improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

      With a diverse background ranging from production and performance to finance and technology, Mr. Heidolph brings a unique perspective and innovative approach to his work. During his time with SMC Entertainment, he successfully overhauled a number of preexisting processes while establishing many new ones. As a result of his efforts, Mr. Heidolph revamped the Company’s production and delivery process ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of one of the Company’s key assets, Record Releases. Additionally, Mr. Heidolph led the Company’s release, rerelease, and rebranding of their online initiative and website. Coinciding with the rollout of these and other policies and objectives, Mr. Heidolph coordinated the processes for the Company’s public shell, managed facilities, and developed new financial models to consolidate and accurately report the Company’s position.

      Prior to working with SMC, Mr. Heidolph managed business analysis and reporting for Fontana Distribution, Universal Music Group Distribution’s independent label division, from 2008-2011. During this time he automated nearly every reporting process and increased the division’s financial efficiency by 100%-150%. Additionally, he created forecasting models that could accurately predict physical and digital sales which had not been possible before. Mr. Heidolph has served as the Chief Engineer for Grammy-nominated pianist Judy Carmichael’s NPR radio show Jazz Inspired since 2005. Mr. Heidolph assisted with archiving, recording, and business development for the New York Philharmonic from 2005-2006. In one year he created and implemented the process for preserving the Philharmonic’s audio archive system. His professional passions include systems and information technology management. Mr. Heidolph holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Indiana University: Audio Engineering and Music Performance and a Certificate in Computer Informatics.

      Mr. Whitcomb serves as the VP of Finance for SMC Recordings, Inc. Mr. Whitcomb began his career in Public Accounting. From there, he transitioned in to private industry, holding positions of CFO of Citadel Exploration, Inc., a publicly traded company, CFO of Ionex Mining, Inc., and CEO of Texas Precious Mineral Investments, LLC. Currently, Mr. Whitcomb is co-founder and CFO of MCW Entertainment Group, a production company. Mr. Whitcomb was critical to the formation of a number of small market cap companies over the last 10 years. Mr. Whitcomb possesses three Bachelor of Science Degrees; Accounting, Business Administration – focus on Corporate Finance, and Real Estate. In addition, he is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

      Flossy serves as the VP of Business Development for SMC Recordings, Inc. Flossy brings over eighteen years of industry experience. He was the CEO/Owner of Streetlight Music LLC which was responsible for releasing many top hits. Flossy is currently the President of Hoo Bangin Records and recently launched his own music video website, www.askflossy.com. His industry experience ranges from developing artists, securing recording deals with major labels, placing songs in TV/Film/video games, securing radio spins, internet marketing, touring, writing and producing hits to signing artist to his label. Mr. Flossy has worked with such notable talent such as Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Mack 10, Ray J, DMX, and many others.
